Welcome! to the Education Foundation of East Stroudsburg and our new homepage! At present, our web site is still under construction. However, you will find a brief discription of the Foundation along with the Foundation's Mission Statement and contact information.
The Foundation has been established by a few business leaders and community residents to provide a resource with the sole purpose of preserving, supporting, and ensuring a solid and vibrant educational experience for students attending the East Stroudsburg Area School District.
Governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of business leaders, patrons, educators and community residents, the Foundation directs every dollar back to the students.
Independent of the school district, the Foundation raises and disburses funds for projects beyond those supported by regular school sources. The additional funding helps fill the gap that exists between the programs, products, equipment, and facilities, that students, teachers, coaches, and district administrators would like to have and those available to them through district budgeting.
The Education Foundation of East Stroudsburg has thus established itself as a part of the support for public education in the communities served by the School District, and will continue to involve those communities in the pursuit of excellence in education.
As we continue to grow, we look forward to providing you additional information on the special projects the Foundation is supporting, and how you can become an active member in supporting the foundation. Please click on the Foundation to read the Foundation Mission Statement.
Foundations are only successful when the communities they serve are intimately involved in building the organization. We the Board of Directors solicit your participation and help in making the Foundation a viable resource our children can depend upon.
We encourage you to contact us by phone 570-807-4548 and by email at info@tefes.org. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
